Keeping pet dogs or cats ( ตอนเลี้ยงหมาและแมว)

Dog owners are required to register their dogs.
Please register your dog at the Health Sanitation Division of your nearest ward office. yen. Registration costs 3,000
You will receive a metal plate as a ใบรับรอง of registration.
Please make sure to attach this plate to your dog's collar.

Also, if you give your dog to someone else or if your dog dies, please inform the Health Sanitation Division of your nearest ward office.

Dog owners are requested to have their dogs vaccinated against rabies once a year. ใบรับรอง Please visit a veterinary คลินิก to have your dog vaccinated against rabies and receive a rabies vaccination
Then, please take this ใบรับรอง to the Health Sanitation Division of your nearest ward office and pay the 550 yen processing fee.
You will receive a metal plate as a ใบรับรอง showing that your dog has been vaccinated.
Please make sure to attach this plate to your dog's collar.

Only Yokohama City residents can use pet cremation services ( these services are not available to those who live outside the city).

Of the 4 municipal funeral halls, only Totsuka Funeral Hall performs cremations for pets.
